Cause

i feel-tempted-unsure-not in control.
i'm curious of why I do things-
why others do things.

I sit in agony-not know who I am-
trying to take control-of both halves.
without loosing sight of what I'm becoming.

what I should become.

staring at the ceiling-
i know this is all i have.
me. my life.

the chance to change it.

for the better,

for the worse.
overwhelmed with fear-anxiety-knowing that not knowing is worst of all.

and loosing control.

not knowing if it'll happen again.

I had

school pictures...and was insanely distracted by trying to figure out what camera the guy had...I finally figured it was Nikon...looked kinda like a D3...it was CHUNKY.
Like you better have that thing on a tripod because it weights a billion pounds.

I bought:
Anywho, then I went downtown and got this jacket from Macys:
http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=394484&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results

Which I love because it's stretchy and like a sweatshirt without really being one.
And the colors are way cuter in real life.

May I add, I drove to Deer Park then back downtown. Lots of driving for me so far today. I don't think Mally appreciates the fact that she has to sit in the back since I only have my permit.

I got some more flat iron spray, because I am oficaially am flat-ironing like a mad woman.

Now:
I have to go to Target.
Go to Michaels to get some earring wires to make a billion earrings.
Go to Barnes and Nobel to get a book for school.

I need to:
Get Tap Dogs tickets and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet tickets. $$$$ UH
Get some thin "it stays" hair ties with the rubber on them
Ask my Running Start adviser some more questions.
Get a Thomas Barbey calender. I LOVE this guy! Definitely a artographer.
Get some sneaksneaks

Happy Birthday Blogger?

So...

Work:
Today work was INSANE!
The most enjoyable kind on insanity, of course.

WANT:
I really want my XSi.
It's making me saddddd.

6 months and I could buy it, but I want to go to Rockette campppp. Darn decisions. NICE camera or Rockette camp. Both could change my life. Intense decisions, I agree. Blah...I know, I know

I want to start a 365 project...but I don't know when.
Maybe I should make it a goal for when I get the XSi.

I also like the idea of an A-Z project. Seems more attainable.
Maybe I'll be starting that soon.

I should:
I should make some kind of budget different from the one I have now to split my money into "camera" "Rockettes" "save" and "SPEND"

I'll do that soon.

I also want a new laptop. But that's a really far off goal...like a graduation present???

More realistic thing to buy: the 88 color palate from Coastal Scents. I NEED it!
My makeup is all dead.

Today:
Mally and I got the 5th season of The Office today and have proceeded to watch 2 of the 5 dvds. Good start.

I have pictures at homelink tomorrow, and after that I'm hoping to go to the mall because I really need some sneaksneaks. I saw some really nice Pumas at Journeys but they're expensive, as all shoes are, but I do realize it's super worth it since I do wear shoes everyday.

I'm proud of myself that I'm taking advantage of the unlimited texting and texting Rose for 2 hours today.

I am:
Going to Emily's house on Friday, spending the night, and selling some of my jewelery at the farmers market. Woot! More money for things.

I also am already super-packing my schedule, and school hasn't even started yet.

I can't believe:
I started making Christmas presents already.
BAA is starting soon.
That I haven't bought my books for school yet.
That I'm working my dream job.
I'm in a show.

Nail color of the day:
Light pink-almost white

An update...and some pics.

I've been busy, forgive me, o blog world...

Anywho...update time

Dance:
I’m having fun learning super-easy dances at HSM2 rehearsals. And Ashley wore a PNB SI shirt the other day, and as Mally knows, I pretty much fainted. *PNB TWITCH TWITCH PNB*
I really like that girl. She’s fun and very dancer-y. And I realized I go up to her after rehearsals to say thank you and curtsey and such automatically. I’m such a bunhead.
I’m starting BAA up again on the 16th. It’s going to be interesting considering I’m so out of shape and fat. Uggg. I’ll be wearing black leotards for a while.

Job:
I’M WORKING AT EMPIRE DANCE SHOPPPPP!
SOOOO amazing. And I can’t believe I’m getting paid.
The BEST job everrrrrr!

School:
I’m starting on the 21st at SCC and I still haven’t got my books. Problem.
I shall do that soon…hopefully.
I also have planned my whole 2 years of classes there and as one can imagine, that was a big ball of fun! :P

Friends:
Taylor is gone.
Rose is back.
I enjoy the irony.
Rose and I got to chill a little yesterday; literally chill because it was freezing outside.

Other:
I went to Pig out in the Park 2 days in a row.
And had some food.
Also, I saw Erin, Adrienne, and Anna there. Sufficiently awk.
Mally and I went to the Kaylee Cole concert, and I realized that she looks a lot like Leyna Swababadadadada.

I got some new juggling balls and have been indeed, juggling them.

I love my camera, although Canon decided to mock me and come out with a better one about a week after I bought mine. Ug…who can keep up with stupid technology?

Things I've decided:

1. I'm in a show with SCT. It is HSM2. I know.

2. I'm taking English, ASL, first aid, and aquatics in the fall.

3. I'm taking modern at Ballet Arts on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 or 5:30-7:00
I have rehearsal that night at 6.

4. I have a LOT of interests. And when I say "interests" I mean "things I want to do for the rest of my life"

5. I just forgot the most important decision. Dang.

6. OH I REMEMBERED IT!

7. I want to go to the Rockette Summer Intensive next summer so I'm going to save ALLLLLLL of the money I can so I can go.

The End.

On to pics...I'm learning.

Thursday, July 9, 2009

I have

not been on in a long time.

I've been busy, forgive me, o blog world...

Anywho...update time

Driving:
I'm in driver's ed and get to see Rose for 7.5 hours a week. Granted those hours are writing notes about POT, SMOG, and HTS but none the less, fantastic.

Also, I'm driving...haha...not. But I got my permit. It's sttuper smexy.
Actually it's not that bad, I kinda like it. I dunno. And I totally lied about my weight, which was :)

Dance:
Missing it more than ever. Having a hard time sleeping. Hopefully it will pass.
I need to go to BAA and get my fill.

Job:
I'm APPLYING FOR EMPIRE DANCE SHOP!
WHOOOOHOOOO! Probably the most exciting thing EVERRRR!

School:
I dropped math for the fall at SCC because I have to pay for it. *Thing to remember: college=expensive*
So I'm taking ENG&101, ASL&121, Health174 and AQUATIC FITNESS! Oh, aquatic fitness how your course title makes me lol out loud.
I'm kinda excited about running start. I go in these fazes of crazy though change. One minute I want to go to school for the rest of my life and I can't even fathom the different career paths I could take, but the next moment the 11 years of school I've already gone through seem like enough.

Friends:
Well, I already mentioned seeing Rose all the time...sooo...
I was super excited to find that Claire has a youtube account. That means we can chat like weirdos on youtube (who uses youtube to communicate?)
I really want to get together with TAY! Man I miss that girl! I hope everyone at BAA is doing well! I think about them ALL the time!

Other:
I bought tap shoes and a new leotard off DSS and got them today. Which is also super exciting because I love these things, plus getting things in the mail is awesome.

other cont.
I have a list of things I would buy if I had money, and now, I do have some money, so I've been buying things. For probably the first time ever I am spending money and not feeling like crap for doing it. Which is nice. :P

cont.
I went to Manito Park for a little today, twas fun.

Oh yeh:
I'm teaching dance classes at CYT soon and am again again, super excited about that as well. I will do better this year, I promise. But I need people to register for them, because so far, there aren't any people in the classes I'm pretty sure.

UMMMM:
I think that's it.
Actually it's definitely not. But I don't want to think of more stuff going on in my burning trash bag.

OOO:
I can officially spell "definitely"
Awesome, because no one knows how to spell it correctly.
Think: "definit-e-ly" or at least that's what I think... you could just think "definite-ly" but that's not as fun.

OOOO yeahhh:
SYTYCD:
I think Melissa is my main FAV...that's about it. Everyone else is kinda annoying me.
And the guys SUCKKK this year. NO TECHNIQUE! Kayla was my original FAV, but I dunno...she can't choreograph worth beans...she's a true comp. kid.

I wonder

why the last couple of days have been so boring.

I've had nothing to do, which is really weird considering I usually have SO many things going on.

I could go swimming, but there are lots of kiddies in the pool.

I really want Rose to come over.
And eat a Subway sandwitch with her.
And drink Kool Aid, like we were kiddies ourselves.

I want to go shopping.
To buy some new jeans.
But Old Navy is in the Valley.

I need to make presents.
Because birthday's are coming up
And I don't know what to make.

I could go to the gym.
To try to stay in shape.
But I have no good sneakers.

I want to hang with Tay.
And watch Coppelia.
But she's busy.

I want to buy a camera.
A nice camera.
But I don't want to spend all of my money.

I want to go to Empire Dance.
And tell them I'm dancing anymore.
But I hate telling people.

I want to take tap.
But my shoes are old.
And I don't know if I have the strength.

I want to go swimming, but there are lots kiddies in the pool.

I like

taking pictures of myself...
No, I really don't.
The first seven pics. I started the first day I wasn't dancing.
Inspired by Noah K. Everyday

I

DID IT!
It's really not that big of a deal, but I was happy. I've never got my foot to my head.

I need to

register for college classes. But I'm not completely in the system, so I can't...

This quarter I'm taking (if I can get into them)

English 101
Math 96 (yes I am STUPID. But my WASL scores were kick butt)
First Aid
and
Aquatic Fitness

Yeppppp.

So Taylor, don't plan my life. I got most of it covered.

Also my Mom is leaving for California this Thursday.
And I'm getting my hair cut on Friday...cut OOFFFFFFF!

Excited!

Sunday, June 7, 2009

I think

this was fantastic. I don't remember who got into the top 20...

I'm going

to PF Changs tonight!

YUM YUM!

I also woke up at noon today. Finale catching up on sleep! :)

And I love this song that I've recently discovered.

Mainly because of this:

Saturday, June 6, 2009

I am

moving on.

And

deciding where my priorities are.

I just

Signed up for drivers ed!
Whoppwhopp!

And I'm watching Wipeout on hulu right now. SOO funny.

Mally graduated today (but I missed it because of rehearsal). But after the ceremony she stopped by Ballet Arts and we took a picture. And I was in costume, which is kinda cute...I think.

Currently, I'm on a crazy job search
and
updating my resume.

And trying to remember the greatest memories of my life. They are quite great.

It went

well.
rehearsal that is.
And I got to talk to cool people during lunch. And didn't make a fool of myself. Yippee.

Modern was pretty crazy, but we got to run it again and I think that helped. Short story: Since I'm in level 5, I get to help take the little kiddies out to bow after the show. So that's really cute and they all kinda stare at you and your pointe shoes. :)
But the little girl that I had to hold hands with kept coughing into her hands. Like A LOT! And then would proceed to grab my hand. I was thinking "wash. hands. now."
And for some reason my toes hurt really bad. Probably since my shoes are dieing a little.

AND

OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS! Those modern tights are SO small. They looked like they were squishing my thighs. Because they were.

And funny: Katie said that our ballet costumes looked like something old ladies would wear to bed. HAHA. I mostly got "You look like witches, without the hats." So I came to the conclusion that we looked like old witches going to bed. :)
But they are still growing on me...I think.

I love rehearsals, though because I get to hang with all the cool ballet-arts-ers and watch lots of cool dancing!

I really DON'T love being early in the program, and then sitting around in my pointe shoes, then getting up...I'm pretty sure dancers know what I'm talking about because HOLY COW! Pain. Just from sitting down. Wow. Special

I need:
To sign up for drivers ed
To research cameras
To take my Compass test
And register for classes
And decide to go to SCC or SFCC
Write some end-of-year letters

Friday, June 5, 2009

I love

Ballet Arts people.

Especially Tay

I have dress rehearsal tomorrow which should go well...hopefully...except for modern
It's hard when lots of people don't know what they're doing. And everyone is hitting into each other. And those TIGHT tights. I'm quite happy with the size of my legs, but really? They are SO small! But I like our costumes this year quite a bit. The black long sleeve things aren't really growing on me yet...but whatever...I love that dance! I need to jet glue my shoes by the way, they were feeling a little dead today. The modern costumes just make me think of Travis' Spring Concert piece and adv. modern 2 years ago, and I love both of those dances.

I had a pretty good class. Except my toes hurt WAY more than they usually do. Plus is was like a bazillion degrees in there and I felt like I was going to be sick about 40 minutes into class. And I had pictures today. And they aren't that great. But I kinda got to hang with Caley and other friendies when they took their pictures. Which was FUN! I love Ballet Arts people remember???

Caley had some CUTE hair today! And I liked her pics!
And the wearing-your-hair-down trend is really catching on. I saw four or five people who had their hair down.

I probably should go to sleep earlier tonight so I'm not so tired for tomorrow...

What I need to bring:
-hairspray/mouse/gel
-hair pins/bobby pins/hair ties
-nudetard?
-makeup
-shoes
-camera?
-tights (and extra tights)
-cute color leotard!
-food. ug.
-yellow notebook

I need...

To think of a pose to do for pictures today...and I need to call BAA and tell them I'm going to wear my moden costume instead of my ballet costume...

I should get on that.

I had a dream.

"I have a dream
A song to sing
To help me cope
With anything
If you see the wonder
Of a fairy tale
You can take the future
Even if you fail"

I had a dream
That I was going to be in level 6 next year.

And somehow it was cheaper than level 5 was.

Which was quite exciting. But I choose not to be in it. Because I was quitting.

Sad dream. I just remember getting my letter and crying in class. Because I wasn't coming back.

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Love.

I am undone
A little rough around the edges
Hearing stories of the hours past
And the hour glass we raised
The one I tried to chase

We talk too much
A million words
Meaning nothing at all
Telling stories of nothing real
It's never how we feel
And they say time is how we heal

I can't see you
I can't breathe you in no
If I do I'd never leave again

Oh again I love the concrete
It's my city grass beneath my feet
And walks with strangers
Hundreds of years
My senior

It's not that I can relate
It's just the little things that make me hate
The age I am
And the way we are
And it all comes back to

I can't see you
I can't breathe you in no
If I do i'd never leave again

I can't see you I can't breathe you in
If I do I'd never leave again
Oh again
If I breathe you in

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nLcJ5HqgEE

I had a good class tonight. Makes it hard to leave.

New stuff.

So I kinda changed this blog.

Theme of the year:
Variance.

the end.

From my sister's myspace blog.

madorys favorite funny things.
disclaimer. you probably shouldn't read this blog. it's not going to make sense to you... at all. i'm just keeping it for my own fun, laugh at loud purposes. you see, me and madi [my little sister] have a lot of stuff that we'll both think is funny that is seems no one else "gets" but makes us hysterical with laughter. or maybe peole would find it hilarious, but it's kind of unknown. things like that. so with this blog, we won't forget about these hilarious things when i'm old [i'll be nine-freaking-teen this year].annnnd... here we go. in whatever the heck order we thought of these...

-"if you're hungry, i suggest you chew on the consequences of your actions." -that guy who owns the spa [joan of arcadia]
-"i hate this WOLF right here..." -i hate this part [the pussycat dolls]
-chocolate rain to the tune of you don't mean nothing at all to me, with sherrod small and john mayer. mainly jon mayer's stoic face for 99% of the song. "chocolate somethin... on my brain. chocolate rain!"
-the entire episodes of black tie [30 rock], bathroom humor [will and grace], and high holidays [fraiser]
-"a lunchbox... furrr lunnnnnch!" -slinky [toy story]
-the blah blah blah blahhhblahs after the pixar short, knick knack. and how that one palm springs palm tree is... not too sharp. he never stops bouncing, even when everyone else does.
-"what day is it?" "gaaiiimmmmdah!" -from the we are marshall commericals
-stupid scott in general. we hope that he knows what dried apples are by now...
-"mr. zebra thought he was gonna take a nice drink, but you never know whos gonna eat when you're dining in mother nature's resturant. OUCH! that's gotta hurt" -narrator guy on the nature program [stranger than fiction]
-stephen colbert finding carol gay a new campaign slogan. "your first gay experience, won't be your last... it's crumbelievable!"
-john oliver and larry willmore talking to that one guy about racism. "sir, do you understand how rap works?!"
-the secret hair transplant song from who's line is it anyway. "one mornin when i woke up, and looked into my mirror..."
-michael's ridiculous attempt at an eddie murphy impression over the phone... "i'm a donkey! i'm a donkey, shrek!" [the office]
-kevin's she thought i was dulll...[the office]
-people with ridiculous eyebrows. mainly sylar and peter gallagher.
-t-pain's rap... "look attt meeeeee." [i'm on a boat]
-"ioh ioh ioh merry christmas!" [ace of cakes]
-geoff manthorn and his deadpan-ness in general.
-"unnnderpaaaaaaants" [old montage commercial on disney channel for boy meets world]
-"my logic in undeniabulhulhulhllll" [i robot]
-"....cuz i'm awesome!" commercial and song in general. we don't even remember what the heck that was for though...
-"AHHHGGGH! nope, not mulan!" -mushu [mulan]
-"thebusisherrrrrre!" [my neighbor totoro]
-" i have wings charlie, i need to fly!" -muriel lang [it could happen to you] and also the million times that our dad has quoted that...
-"you rotten sister! your butt is cruh-rushing me!" -lilo [lillo and stitch]
-the smelly goat quote from matt keebles big move
-"beause i told you to you stupid beetttttle!" [thumbelina, sort of]
-jack's pocahontas jump off the waterfall on lost and how we both recognized it at the same time as such.
-the movie paulie. in general.
-how the whole chorus of wicked milks their part like nobody's business. it's ridiculous. 'looooouuuukkk, it'sssss gaaaalinnnndaaaaa!"
-the outtakes from the producers with matthew broderick and natan lane. especially the trip/dance and all the hysterical tiredness.
-the girl that can't sing at all in a chorus line, so she makes it up for it by yelling as loud as possible... "AT THE BALLLLAAAYYYYY!"
-how according to gloria-got-stepped-on, the rhythm could possibly getcha.
-the beyonce/sugarland fusion.
-"here's a picture of me when IIIIIII was 16." [tyra on the tyra show]
-the clearly stolen from 'everybody hurts' piano ballad that plays in antm
-"getchyo sexy on, go hippy comb" from some crazy lady that wrote to the ellen show
-the absurdity of "the boobs are not where they're supposed to be!" -heidi [in just about every project runway episode]
-LOST IN 8:15 "...mr friendly throws like a girl..."
-"i'm going to punch you... in the tooth!" [the office]
-"run. elisa. run, run, from simon!' [the king and i]
-"boy nobody be watchin you! in case you haven't realized... you ugly!" [i love the 80s]
-"you're out of your vulcan mind!!!" [okay, so everyone laughed at that... but no one quoted it over and over as they left the theater like we did...]

So.

Coppeila went great.
And basically it's my last show with homelink which is quite sad.
And I just had a piece of delish pizza (a tinnnnyyyy piece)

I need to stretch. The three weeks are OVER!

And my comp is freakingout.
AHHHH!

The End.

Sunday, April 26, 2009

Today

I cleaned the WHOLE apartment. So it's really clean now. WHOPPEEE!
And I went to SBE's Sleeping Beauty. It was...interesting...and I didn't get to hang with TAY! UGGGGG! How sad!
And this is a given, but I've yet to add Scott to the awesome dance photographers list.
http://www.scottmartinezphotography.com
And Lesley, Katie, and Sally are coming to Coppeila.
f;oaihvn;arojgvba;rkjgfwae'!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Ok. I'm done.
So I need to do my homelink review now. But I don't really want to at the moment.
I watching House reruns. (I know, what else is new) and
HAPPY NATIONAL DANCE WEEK!
I think that's all. Soon I'm starting a blog with my sis called "our favorite things". It will be AWESOME! And make no sense.

The End.

Saturday, April 25, 2009

Duh.

How could I forget about Richard Calmes???

Psh. Stupid me

http://www.pbase.com/rcalmes

Anywho.

Just another photographer to add to "the list of dance photographers that i check their websites far to often"

And I'm freaking out for Coppeila
And Katie, Leslie, and Sally from EDS are coming.

I'm gonna crap a brick.
(how lady-like)

The End.

I had a great day.
Rehearsal (OUW MY KNEE), (watching) rehearsal, watching class :), and BEST compliment ever!

Then, my mom ruined it. What a shocker.

And currently I'm marveling at a Kirov/Mariinsky company class.

Check it out. It's amazing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4gDhHtBB4o&feature=PlayList&p=02465B8FB24C5D81&index=2

Especially Somova. She's like rubber. But it almost gets to the point that is doesn't look right...but who I am to say???

Then End.

Monday, April 20, 2009

I don't know...

if I'm going to ballet today. I shouldn't be dancing, but I don't want to "skip" class either.

Ug. Why does everything happen at the wrong time?

UGUGUGUGUGUGUGWUG!

The End.

This week in Madison

Monday:
Math WASL...ug
Heroes: I don't even remember. Probably crazy.
And I didn't watch Medium. I get tired.

Tuesday:
Math WASL. I kicked some math butt!
House was really good this week. And creepy. But I love hearing Hugh Laurie play some jazz piano.

Wednesday:
Had to go to the ER. Gross. But funny. Couldn't help but think of John Stamos...
Lost: Was crazy as often. But not really crazy. Just slightly.

Thursday:
Went to the doctor for me knee. And I'm 5'9". Not 5'10" for everyone who was wondering.
The Office: Was good. And funny. I loved the cold opener.
And I missed Parks and Recreation
30 Rock: Was FUNNY. Very glad. I needed a good 30 rock

Friday:
Nothing is on TV.
But we finished choreography for ballet. Which is good. But the dance seems really short. I guess it's not...I don't know. I spent Friday sitting on my butt watching everyone dance for an hour and a half. Then Peggy proved to be even more amazing than I thought she was.

Saturday:
Took Peggy's advise and didn't go to ballet. But I really wanted to. I did some errands and got a new dance bag. And a debit card.
Did some illegal stretching for about an hour.

Sunday:
Ummm...nothing really. Lots of sitting. And transferring my dance bag stuff. And taking a picture of it when all the stuff was out of my bag. Didn't seem to be as much stuff in there as I thought.

Tomorrow I have Science WASL...I should go study.

I love this pic. Off of SAB's fan site on facebook.

I'm wondering why Anaheim Ballet hasn't put up a new video in two weeks.

The End.

What's new with me?

So I'm injured. And it's really pissing me off.

I had 44 emails this morning.

And I watched Slumdog Millionaire

I also got a debit card.

And a new dance bag.

I had a really nice x-ray person. (I'm lacking a correct term, she wasn't a radiologist)

I hate skipping class.

But I love stretching.

I'm very worried for Coppelia.

I'll probably think of something important to say later.

The End.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Ummm...I realized I totally knew about Kyle's photography...duh. I knew that I knew the name. He has an awesome book, "In The Wings" that I'll probably have the money to buy because I'm a broke dancer...

So yep. Promotion of the day, Check.

Good night or goodnight. I'm pretty sure I'll never be happy if it's one word or two.

The End.

Thank you Facebook

http://www.kylefromanphotography.com/

Another new photographer to stalk. (really just stalking the websites...not the guy himself. I'm not that creepy...)

So I've found two photographers on facebook through fan pages. I love facebook.

I'm freaking out for Coppelia.
The End.

Forgot to mention...

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!

HOUSE???? WhA??? Kutner shooting himself?

Ok...

So there is all these memorials and such around the internet. And really it's pretty weird. He's a TV character that wasn't THAT important. It's not like he's super famous and everyone is gieveing. Like when Greene died on ER. VERY SAD! He would be someone who deserves a memoiral for his TV character...wait...what am I saying...

Anywho. That was probably the biggest shocker of my life. Remy looking over and Kutner's dead! And not murdered. I guess Lost has taught me to think that way since everyone's getting killed on Lost.

I told my Dad about this insanity and he added that maybe he'll come back as a ghost. Ummm...if that happens I won't watch the show. Well....actually I probably would but I would be deeply dissapointed.

The End.

Ug. Toenails and Bodies.

So my toenail is in a TON of pain because it's all thickened and gross...silly pointe shoes squeezing my little toe.

And so I tried to file it down; I don't think it really helped. And I have 6 hours of dance tomorrow, which is cool, but not cool when I'm in this much pain.

I'm going to post what's going on pain wise because I never realize when I start to feel hurt and how long it lasts so, at the moment (this is really just for me...so I realize no one else cares...i just need to put this down as a starting point):

knees, achilles tendon, sprained ankle pain, back issue, big toe on left foot, weird left hip issue, and arm spasm.

Yep yep. That's it.

The End.

Over.

So spring break is over.
Which, unlike most people, I actually like.

I had my first dance class in a week and man did my toes hurt! But besides that I did pretty well. I was actually pretty much on my leg and did some triple pirouettes on pointe.

ANDDDD......
DRUM ROLL PLEASE....

I actually did good on a cabriole combination. And I actually got some compliments from Pam, which doesn't seem to happen too often...

So yep. Today=adequately decent.

The End.

Taylor, Twilight, Two Shoes

I had quite an awesome day...

I went to Tay's house at 1o in the morning. We hung out. Looked at leotards for a really long time. Then I got to watch Twilight for the first time...

IT WAS HILARIOUS!
I have no idea how anyone can take that seriously. I mean REALLY??? The funny looks they give eachother the whole time...all WIDE EYED! I was laughing my head off. And the dialogue was SO funny. But the best moments were when Edward decides to "sweep Bella off her feet" numerous times, to a top of a mountain, or a tree or something.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

If you're thinking I would COMPLETELY waste my time watching that, I didn't. I also sewed my new pointe shoes and had lots of candy. Tay and I agreed that Dodie would not approve. :)

So yep.

The End.

ER IS OVER!

How depressing.

But not at the same time. It was a good ending with Greene's daughter and whatnot. And the homage to the pilot episode. Which I've never REALLY seen, but then again, I was a year old, so it's really not my fault.

So, yep...I loved how they put the old theme song in there too, nice touch.

BUT:

What was with Alexis Bledel? Why was she randomly in there? Did I miss something?
Anywho...great last episode, I wish I was able to watch all of the seasons. :(
The End. Of this blog, and of ER.

ER FINALE!

AHHHHHHHHHH!
I'm going to cry! The finale of ER is TONIGHT! Starting at 8!

AOIUEBV:WIUEVKJCBNSKJFHC:WEOUIVB!
I'm going to have to save my money to buy the 15 seasons. Whoa. That will be a lot of money!

The END...literally!

PARTY!

Second day of srping break:

Firstly, wake up, eat, watch music videos on VH1. Then later I'm going to a party at the Lyman's house for a party. FUN! Kinda...they are all younger than me...whatever!

I recently discovered The Ballerina Project, it's amazing!

The End.

Spring break update.

So the rest of the day basically consisted of choreographing, stretching, watching ANTM reruns, talking to ROSE, and crocheting.

So, first day of spring break, pretty good.

I'll soon be watching House and Heroes. That will complete the day!

The End

American Apparel dancers.

So I was window shopping on American Apparel's website and found thi pic.

I thought it was pretty cool...dancing is everywhere.

Spring Break..

so far has consisted of waking up at 9:30, having cereal, and watching Jump Start on VH1 (music videos).

So yep, pretty cool so far.
Hopefully I can actually do something this week.
I'm going to a party tomorrow, and that should be...interesting.

Blog 2.0

Do you like it?

Taylor and Madison's book of Life

So Taylor...I started our book.

It's called "Taylor and Madison's book of Life"
But currently only "Taylor Madison's book of Life" because I forgot to look for the letters A N D in the magazines to cut out.

Today was quite interesting. I woke up and got to see the cast list for Joesph (YEAH MALLY!). Then Mally went prom dress shopping and bought a dress for a reasonable price ($325 with tax), and my dad's car broke down. So I had to endure some awkward "we're getting a divorce" tension between my mom and dad. Went to the mall (the crappy one) and almost bought a new ballet bag, but didn't. I then went home, laughed at HSM3, washed my hair, stretched, and now Blogged.

How is that interesting you ask?

Mainly because I didn't have ballet. And lots of good things happened today. Along with some not-so-good things. (I told you initially that my blog was going to be random)

The End.
Altough I could talk about what other madness ensued today, I'll refrain

Stretching

I love showering
Especially when it's followed by STRETCHING!
You're all warm and loose.
And not to mention clean.

I'm done, only 40 minutes of stretching/abs today.

Blah. I'm such a failure.

The End.

TEMPTING!

I AM THAT 4%!!!!
I wanted to click on that pop-up SOOOOO bad! (No Taylor, not So good)

I hate this part

Ug...I totally have that song STUCK in my head. And the trippy dancing in slow motion thing in the video.

And the random WOLF! LOLOLOLOL!

And don't blame me for getting "When I Grow Up" stuck in your head. Horrible, yet extremely catchy.

As annoying as the Pussycat Dolls are, I'm super jealous of the girl with the short hair's mad flexibility. Sure, it comes from her being a stripper, but her tilt (awsnap. Dance term!) is SO nice! But it reminds me of Melody on SYTYCD the first season and how much she LOVED her tilt. And then Nigel totally called her out on it...funny. I wish I could find that video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-3FimMXNi0

OH LOOK I'M FLEXIBLE!
Yes, Melody, you're amazing.

That then made me think of blake:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GF6_LQqqRI&feature=related

Femine? Blake? NAH?

That made me think of my first dance love, Nick

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giOX2EmWn5c&feature=related

AHH! Perfect layout! On a DANCE floor.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uCC_Ej8yaU&feature=related

Don't get me started on the amazement of Travis...ahh. I must stop.

This was extremly scatterbrained.

The end.

Pollywag and Pollywhirl

Pollywhirl, the pissed, "I will defend you" pokemon, and Polywag, the cute one. I recently remembered them both. They were two of my favorites.

AWWWWWWWWWWE! Look how CUTE he is!

My CRAZY hair!

I Just jot new (BLOND-ish) highlights! So here are the pics of them! There isn't really good light in out apartment, the first pic is with bright vanity lights, the second pic is with the light from the dreary outside light (it also shows the VAST difference between my highlights and my ACTUAL hair color underneath)

These too are the pics from my first (caramel) highlights (in December)

Here's my original haircut last summer (around June/July)

So yep...

uh....

This is one of those annoying things that goes around facebook and you feel SO obligated to to them, especially after a bagillion people tag you. And Taylor said she was making a new one that's better than her previous one, but I think mine pretty much sums me up in a "things you didn't know about me" kind of way.

25 Things (you may not know) About Me

1. I can juggle. (haha Taylor) And I always think everyone knows I can, but apparently I surprise people with my mad skills! No...but really I love juggling. It's like yoga, it makes you feel really balanced and calm. Good for clearing the mind. (I sound like a hippy, *cough cough, Emily)

2. I have weird, horribly thick, frizzy hair. It is somewhere between curly and straight. And it's very poofy. Good for the 80s, which I was never alive for.

3. I love water. Apparently you're supposed to drink an ounce (32 ounces) for every 50 pounds you weigh? Since I drink upwards of 6 bottles of 16oz bottles a day I think I'm covered.

4. Speaking of drinking things, I don't drink soda. At all. And yes, I LOVE soda, but choose not to drink it for health reasons. I'm not crazy. My bones need as much help as I can give them.

5. I love TV. SO MUCH! I’m basically always stretching in front of the TV and blocking my sister’s view. She says, “Madi…your leg is in the way of the entertainment.”

6. Speaking of my sister. I love her to death. We’re best friends and I’m so glad she’s going to SCC for two years because she’ll be home with me for my last too years of high school.

7. I’m in love with leotards. Quite an interesting love, eh? I buy leotards all the time…I have no idea where my money comes from. I still haven’t got a Yumiko, though!

8. I live in an apartment with my mom and sister. I like apartment living except in the morning when my sister turns on the light in our room when I’m trying to sleep in the morning. I’ve gotten really good at sleeping in broad daylight.

9. I agree with Sara’s number 9: “If I love something I will find out everything I can about it. Hence my 14 ballet books, 16 DVDs, and countless other resources.” That’s so me! All I can do is research ballet and watch it…and read about it…and do it.

10. I have lots of really sad friends. Which is quite sad.

11. I don’t trust people, even people within my family.

12. I’m extremely thankful for my friends. I love them all so much!

13. I love it when people ask me for help, but it doesn’t really happen that often. Or at all. I think the only thing I ever get asked about is ballet related like Shalea said: “I’m having such a good class! I’ve barely had to watch you at all!”

14. I love *the city I live in* . Which apparently is quite rare. I wish we were more cultured, but it’s getting there.

15. I’m 15, not 20. No, I’m not older than my sister, who is 18. I am not at a legal age to drink, nor do I have a driver’s license. I like being mature, but REALLY?

16. I wish I could dance all the time. And take more than 2 modern classes a week.

17. I really want a new camera; or video camera, or both.

18. I love sewing the ribbons on my pointe shoes. Pretty much everyone I know hates it. I think it’s awesome.

19. I feel like there is a lot of good timing in my life. I’m grateful for that.

20. I hate the font “Times New Roman”. BLAHHHHH! It makes me ENRAGED!

21. I don’t know what I want to do when I’m “older”.

22. I’ve finally found somewhere where I belong. That makes me feel good.

23. My mom thinks I’m mean to all of my friends. I like to think that’s not true, or maybe I just have a lot of very tolerant friends.

24. I can’t wait to start rehearsal for the recitals I’m in this year! First off: COPPEILA! And the most amazing modern music AND Peggy is doing our ballet recital. AHHH! AMAZING!!!!!

25. I feel like I should have some “wrap it up” enlightening thought as my 25th, but it would probably be disappointing.

26. OOOO! An extra thought: I'm extremely excited for what this year has in store for me, and I need to try and remember that.

(and I want to start putting pics in all of my posts so)

Busy...busy bee

So I've been ridiculously busy lately. Usually I'm pretty busy, but I've been abnormally busy lately. Ick. Not fun.

Anywho...random random random.

(and Taylor, we need to hang out...)
Also, I'm so excited for Coppeila. AHHH! SO EXCITED!

So I got into Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's summer program.
I can't go. But I got in.

(get it? Bittersweet???)

Thanks guys!

Thanks! I love ballet people.

Jordyn at 11:06pm February 14
aw im sorry darlin, dont let it get ya down though. stupid auditions.

Madison at 11:07pm February 14
Haha. Yep i wasn't expecting to get in...

Jordyn at 11:07pm February 14
PNB is weird. One year they'll accept you with a scholarship, and the next they won't take you at all. It's ridiculous. And they're doing really horribly financially right now too.

Madison at 11:12pm February 14
Mmmm..true. I did really good at my PBT audition though. I did a tripple pirouette on pointe right in front the the guy! It was awesome!

Jordyn at 11:12pm February 14
Oh nice! Don't ya love it when that happens? =]
Did Dennis teach the audition?

Madison at 11:15pm February 14
Uh...I'm not exactly sure. He was a big guy and he kinda had an accent. And brown-ish hair

Sarah at 11:17pm February 14
Aww no worries though...from what I heard friends weren't that crazy about the intensive after going to it! Omg, congrats on the triple pirouette though. :o

Jordyn at 11:18pm February 14
Hah yeah that's Dennis. I looove him.

Madison at 11:20pm February 14
Thanks! I was in awe the whole audition because of this girl with a zillion degree arabesque! And she was HOLDING it while doing promenades. It was CRAZY! The PNB audition was kinda a downer. Really long, and really boring...really crowded. I had lots of fun at the PBT audition, though.

Madison at 11:20pm February 14
He was really cool! And he called us by our names and everything. And he told me I did well after the audition so I was REALLY happy!

Jordyn at 11:22pm February 14
Ugh i hate girls like that. Haha that's how i feel every audition its awful. So unfair. Yeah, i always hated the pnb audition.

Madison at 11:24pm February 14
She seemed really nice (Adrienne said she was actually because she was at PNB last year with her). But HOLY MOLY! And she was in front of me during barre. I was so distracted! And if YOU feel like that at auditions, I'm in trouble...

Sara at 11:25pm February 14
I am sorry to hear that! Have you heard from any of the other programs yet?

Sarah at 11:25pm February 14
Hahah I'm always super intimidated by the girls doing a zillion pirouettes and triple pique turns and such. There's me, with my singles and doubles. :B But I compensate by doing disgusting extensions. However, I once kicked myself in the head during a releve developpé at an audition. Embarrassing.

Jordyn at 11:25pm February 14
haha noo dont worry about it. And yeah i always try to stand next to people who don't look as good...haha good trick.

Madison at 11:28pm February 14
Sara: I got into Long Beach.
I auditioned for Pittsburgh yesterday. And I didn't audition for Kansas City or Nutmeg.

Sarah: Haha. I don't really have the problem of kicking myself in the head yet! I did kinda kick the girl in front of me during barre a few times (lightly). I kept thinking I hope she's not going to trip me or something.

Jordyn: I was standing by Adrienne for PBT. Ug...way to make myself look horrible.

Sara at 11:29pm February 14
I hope you hear good news from PBT! That would be a good one to go to!

Sarah at 11:29pm February 14
Hahah I kick other people far too often; if the class is crowded, I MUST angle away from the barre or I kick violently. Usually during arabesque grande battements, I "slap" my friend's first arabesque hand. Summer will be interesting...

Madison at 11:32pm February 14
Sara: I hope so too! I don't have the money though...

Sarah: I always travel A LOT during center (at appropriate times) (which the teachers like me to do because I'm so tall) so I'm always trying not to run into people. Especially at auditions I feel SO bad because some people aren't so nice about it...

Sarah at 11:39pm February 14
I know what you mean about traveling! I love to move, so I really MOVE. Sometimes I end up getting frustrated that people won't get out of my way. But I just keep dancing. Except at auditions I worry that if I mow them down, they'll kill me. Or like...set fire to my bun or something.

Madison at 11:42pm February 14
Hehe. Set fire to my bun. My friend and I were going to make a list of the ways to "kill the competition"t. Therabands were involved...DEATH BY THERABAND! Classic

Leyna at 11:44pm February 14
i NEVER get into pnb. i gave up many a decade ago.

Madison at 11:46pm February 14
WHA? Crazy PNB. Not acepting Leyna?!?!?!? PSHH! Yeh I don't think I'll audition next year. Unless I magically turn into Adrienne.

So basically that you again. I love you guys!

ATTENTION EVERYBODY (uh, Taylor): I need help choosing a leotard from lolastretch.

WEEEE! How exciting! YEAH for Valentine's Day sales:

So everyone (taylor) help me choose!!!!!!!!

TOTD

I was thinking about how people always want to be noticed. "How's my hair?" "Does my dress look okay?" My thought of the day: LET people find you, as opposed to trying so hard to MAKE them notice you. Be more like Waldo, if only a little bit.

YEAH!

So I had an amazing class today. I actually did good. YEAH! I was actually on my leg and doing double piques on pointe. And Peggy taught class, which is always awesome! And we did pointe center, which is also awesome. And I did some triples, and my feet actually looked good. But I couldn't stop starring at Travis doing 6 pirouettes. 6? That's nothing? AH! Anywhoo, wonderful, indeed!

I also auditioned for PNB yesterday. And sorry, PNB, but it kinda bummed me out. Can't wait to get my un-acceptance letter! *says in a sarcastic voice

I'm also really nervous to start learning the partering parts for Coppelia tomorrow.
HAOIFHELJFBCEUHVCSEIU!

That's all.

Monday, February 9, 2009

SICKY!

SO I woke up at 1 PM today.
Lovely being [slightly] sick.
Anywhoo. Now I have to get ready for 3 hours of ballet.

Dancer confidence??

So...this is *ahem* random.

A lot of my dancing friends are all sad because they all think they're horrible. Which is sad because they are all a bidgallion times better than me. Hmmm...

My thought:
It's audition season. It's also around the time to have tons of rehearsal. We are all tired and sore and fighting injury. It's ok guys! Hang in there! You ARE amazing!

It seems like dancers are always there to tell each other how amazing each other are. But I don't know anyone who believes it. You will never be good enough and we're reminded of it everyday. Think of that in a good way, OK?

Ah I'm in a disgustingly inspired mood.

I'm going to go take my leotard off. I haven't took it off since my audition today...which was 5 hours ago. So I haven't gone pee in 5 hours. Lovely

So I feel like having a blog. I don't really know why but I seem to type a lot of word documents full of thoughts and whatnot. I might as well just blog about it. It's like writing in a journal for people who like to type? eh? Anyway. I'm Madison. I live to dance. I apparently look like I'm 20. I'm not. In case you were wondering. I love my sister and I like those Hillshire Farms commercials: GO MEAT! I love TV and I watch a lot of it. I love to knit and crochet and polymer clay (if that's a verb). I feel the need to give people gifts. Quite often. And I love giving compiments. Even though that's probably creeps people out.

I've only done ballet for 2 years. Most of
the girls in my class are younger than me, but that's ok. They are thankfully mature and really cool. I work hard to keep up with people that have been dancing for much longer than me.

My parents are getting divorced. My mom is also currently going
though chemo and soon radiation. That kinda sucks.

I live in an apartment with my mom and sister in which my sister and I share a room. She always wakes me up in the morning when she gets ready for school and turns on the lights.

I love my friends.

So basically this is a random blog. Maybe I'll post some dancing pics, maybe a crocheting pattern, maybe I'll just complain about something. Maybe this blog will actually develop into something.
